Middle School Show Choir Auditions
The Ascent • The Accord
We are excited to announce auditions for the 2025–2026 Northwest Rankin Middle School Show Choirs: The Ascent and The Accord. These ensembles are an important part of our growing choral music program and offer students the opportunity to build their skills as vocalists, dancers, and performers while being part of a fun, energetic team.
The Ascent is a preparatory show choir designed specifically for sixth grade students who are ready to take their first step into show choir, while The Accord offers a more advanced performance experience for seventh and eighth grade students.
Show choir at Northwest Rankin Middle School is about more than just singing and dancing—it's about building confidence, developing leadership, and finding a place where you belong. "In show choir, we don’t just perform together—we grow together, cheer each other on, and become like a family. We learn to work hard, have fun, and trust each other through everything we do. It’s not just about singing and dancing; it’s about making memories, building friendships, and knowing that you always have people who believe in you."
