TONEY KEELER
Director of Choral Activities
Toney Keeler is entering his fifth year as director of Choral Activities at NWR and leads over NWRHS Choral Activities.
Mr. Keeler also assists the Northwest Rankin Middle School Choral Music Program as well as The Accord Show Choir. Prior to his tenure at Northwest, Mr. Keeler spent seven years teaching both Middle and High School Show Choir. Mr. Keeler holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music Education from William Carey University and is Music Director of the Northside Baptist Church in Clinton, MS
TYLER HENDERSON
Assistant Choral Director
Tyler Henderson is entering his first year at NWR and serves the Assistant Choral Director.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Illinois, Mr. Henderson has 7 years in education, spending the last 2 years at Sullivan Middle/High School in Sullivan, IL. In addition to sharing conducting and teaching duties, Mr. Henderson coordinates the Stage/Set Crew as well as the Renegade Show Band and also arranges all of the music for Northwest Rankin Show Choirs. Mr. Henderson holds the Bachelor of Music in from Millikin University in Decatur, IL.
HUNTER CANNETTE
Middle School Choral Director
Hunter Cannette is entering his third year as Middle School Director at Northwest. Mr. Cannette serves as Director of Middle School Choral Activities as well assisting with Choral Activities at Northwest Rankin High School. Mr. Cannette holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Mississippi College.
NAOMI BATES
Accompanist
Naomi Bates currently serves as the esteemed accompanist for Northwest Rankin Choral Music. Previously, Ms. Bates served as Assistant Choral Director for Northwest Rankin High School. Ms. Bates accompanies the choral program on piano and organ at concerts and festivals. Prior to her time at Northwest, Mrs. Bates served as Cyber Foundation and Technology Teacher at McLaurin High School.
